Droplet terms of use

These terms govern use of Droplet, a nearby file-transfer application provided by Pocket Dimension Studio.

Using Droplet

You may use Droplet to transfer files that you have the right to access and share. You are responsible for confirming the intended phone, reviewing incoming files and complying with applicable law. Do not use Droplet to distribute malware, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, bypass access controls, or interfere with another device or network.

Droplet uses close-range discovery as an aid, not proof of identity or physical contact. Compare the six-digit code on both phones before confirming. Only accepted files are transferred.

Free sharing and Droplet Pro

Free sharing supports up to 5 files or 100 MB in one transfer. Droplet Pro raises one transfer to a maximum of 20 files or 1 GB. Technical, device, storage, background-execution and network limits still apply.

The available plans, localized price and billing period are shown by Apple App Store or Google Play before purchase. A Droplet Pro subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through the store account before renewal. The store handles payment, cancellation, refunds and applicable taxes under its own terms. Restore Purchases can recover an active entitlement associated with the current store account. Manage Subscription opens the store's subscription controls.

Availability and files

Droplet does not provide cloud backup. Keep originals until the receiving user has verified and saved the files. Interrupted transfers may need to start again. Nearby radios, temporary Wi-Fi networks, operating-system permissions, free storage and background limits can affect availability and speed.

Ownership and license

Droplet and its original visual design, software and branding remain the property of Pocket Dimension Studio and its licensors. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app through an authorized store. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.

Disclaimer and limitation

Droplet is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Pocket Dimension Studio does not guarantee uninterrupted transfer, compatibility with every file or device, or recovery of deleted files. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
